A warm welcome to Owl Class. We are a very happy and caring team who learn through fun and hard work. In Year 2 and 3 we aim to develop our love of learning, based on our school core values of Respect, Individuality, Creativity, Honesty, Empathy and Resilience. We will grow as learners and use our enquiring minds to learn new skills and develop positive attitudes towards or work and friendships. We have an exciting year ahead and are looking forward to many great learning activities and adventures.

This term we will be learning about houses and homes in our topic ‘Who lives in a house like ths?’ We will focus particularly homes in our locality, through history and around the world. We will learn new geography and history skills as well as developing other skills across the curriculum.

We will be writing for a range of purposes and reading a range of beautiful books, applying our mathematics skills accross the curriculum and getting creative building and creating art works.

Madame Pond will be leading our interactive French sessions on a Thursday morning. The children learn through a variety of exciting interactive activities.

The children will be learning in Forest School every Tuesday this half term with Mrs Connery and Mrs Mochere. Please ensure your child is suitably wrapped up as the months get colder.  We will be doing PE each week, usually on a Thursday. Please ensure your child has their kit each day though as there may be other physical sessions throughout the week.
