Tuesday 28th April

Date: 28th Apr 2020 @ 8:42am

Good morning you wonderful Buzzard team!

Hope you had a lovely day in the sunshine yesterday. I thought the weather was going to be rubbish, but we actually did all of our home learning work outside at school and silly me didn't take any suncream, so my forehead is rather red this morning! Today, however, doesn't look like there will be much sunshine BUT all the plants in my garden look very excited for some rain!!

I hope you enjoyed yesterday's work...I came up with so  many stories and questions and predictions about that boy who had ended up in a forest...IN HIS BED!

Today, we are continuing our magical, mysterious theme. Here are your suggested tasks:

1. Reading: a letter 'To whoever finds this...'

2. Writing: DADWAVERS character description

3. MyMaths: area of rectangles

Remember there is also the bbc bitesize website. I had a really good look at it yesterday and it really is FAB! There are daily lessons for every year group...some of today's lessons include: multiply by 10, 100 and 1000 (the one that ALWAYS trips us up), a history lesson on ancient egyptians and even a music lesson on how to use your voice to create music! There are SO many. Have a look!

Did many of you try any of the Maths/PE activities I sent out yesterday?

Remember to keep finding the positives in every day...even if these grey clouds decide to open and it starts pouring down, our gardens will be VERY happy!

Still missing you and here if you need me or just want to say hello: buzzardhomelearning@ashtonhayes.cheshire.sch.uk
