Hello team!
How are you all? I can't believe it, but 'staying at home' is actually feeling a little bit more normal now. We are missing you so very much and wonder what you are all up to every day. Over the past couple of weeks I have started running (which I'm finally starting to get better at); Frankie has discovered that he can dance and does so whenever music comes on (his favourite song is 'You're Welcome' from Moana); and we finally won at our weekly family zoom quiz.

Even though I struggle to know what day it is at the moment, I do believe today should be our first day back after the Easter holidays so we best get back to some home learning tasks. This week, we will be setting tasks all about our planet and what we can do to protect it:
1. Reading and Writing: inromal letters (both tasks are on one document)
2. Maths: Measuring angles (see Mymaths)
3. Mini Eco Project
I really do hope that you're all okay. To continue our learning at home is so important, however, learning doesn't just happen through these tasks. Now, more than ever, it's so important to keep ourselves positive and happy and we can do that by doing things we love! By doing things we don't normally have time to do! By doing new things that we have never done before! Use this once in a generation time to take care of yourself and your family and let yourself be as happy and as positive as you can possibly be.
It is sometimes hard to think of the positives to this bizarre situation so I force myself to think of a new one each day. Maybe you could share some positives with me? Today, my positive is that with lots less cars on the road, with far less factories releasing unwanted gases and with people having time to do their recycling properly, our world is having a much needed clean up!
