Week Commencing July 6th
Date: 5th Jul 2020 @ 3:59pm
Hello and welcome to another week. It has been lovely to see many of you either in school or on our Zoom calls.
This week in your home learning, in addition to previous suggestions, please have a go at the following activities…
The Woodland trust has lots of great ideas for outdoor learning https://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/blog/2020/03/nature-detectives/
Why not have a go at the Scarecrow trail around Manley, Mouldsworth and Ashton. There are some great entries – see what books you recognise.
White Rose Home Learning week 11
Have a go at a doubling game – take it in turns to roll 2 dice and score a point each time you score a double. Can you work out the total of your double?
Can you explore halving and sharing in a teddy bears picnic? Either with real or pretend food share it amongst a selection of teddies in a picnic. How can you make it fair? Are there any numbers of food that do not share fairly amongst the teddies?
Try some of the halving activities on the attached sheet.
Continue to watch Numberblocks exploring numbers 11 – 20 and number operations.
Have a look at the picture in the attached file – can you write a sentence about it? Remember to use tricky words and phonics.
Have a go at the story telling activities that you have explored previously including the who, where, what grid and using a collection of objects to make a story with.
Keep practicing phonics, including recognising blends, building words, reading tricky words and sentences.
Have a good week
