Viking Day

Peregrine's have been looking at Vikings/Anglo Saxon in History.  We (as a class) decided to make a full day of it. We headed to the woodland for the whole day.  We had 2 settlements, 'Toothless' and 'Hiccup', each settlement was in charge of what was done on the day and in what order. 

We had fires, food to be prepared, dens, weapons to be made with rope from nettles. We died material with natural ingredients, made runes of our names and wove viking braids.   

First thing that was needed was somewhere to keep us dry and warm - dens and fires first then.

They all worked together and it was an amazing day, in fact we ran out of time to do everything we wanted to do.  Even us Gods (Teaching Staff) had a blast.
