Peregrine Class 4th December

Happy December! The countdown to Christmas is here! 
Peregrines have enjoyed sharing all of the funny, kind or absolutely outrageous things that their elves have been up to this week and they're very excited about our class advent calendar. We have also enjoyed preparing for our Christmas nativity video!

In English this week, we've been writing speech sandwiches! Speech sandwiches help us to add description to dialogue.

In maths, we have finished off our addition and subtraction unit with some checking strategies. We have looked at how we can use estimation to check that our answers are reasonable and inverse operations to check that our answers are accurate.
