Hello and welcome to week 2. Thankyou so much for all the emails and tapestry logs - it is so helpful to see what the chidlren have been learnig and to be able to share and feedbakc on their activities.
In addition to the daily acitivities this week, I have attached an on going set of activties based on the story of Zog. It is currently apt to be considering the roles of doctors and nurses, as we are thinking of all the fanatastic staff who work for the NHS and help to keep us healthy.

The tricky words ‘come’ and ‘look’ pop up on each page.
Use the picture clues to help with unknown words and to think about the following questions whilst sharing the book.
Who do you think the footprints belong to?

What do you think the ‘clouds’ are above their heads? (thinking bubbles) At the end of the book, go back and see if you can spot dad on each page!

More than / fewer than

Can you find out a little more about what icy lands are like? Can you ask questions that help you find out more information?
Can you pack a case for a trip to a very cold land – possibly even Antartica like the boy and penguin – you could put things you need for very cold weather in a real case or sort the items, in the pictures, cutting and sticking them onto the suitcase using the attched file.
