Friday 3rd April
Date: 3rd Apr 2020 @ 9:06am
Good morning team!
Is it just me or do you have to check the calendar to see what day it is?
I saw some fantastic work yesterday. A big shout out to James M who produced a brilliant piece of descriptive writing. His use of personification was fantastic: 'Ginormous flames burst into life and started to infect the buildings nearby...'
Here are some suggested tasks for today:
1. Reading task: The Lion and the Unicorn
2. Writing task: Non-chronological report
3. Mymaths: Statistics
Don't rush your writing task. Complete it over the easter weeks and remember to plan, draft, edit and then produce your final copy. I can't wait to read them.
Remember that these are only suggested tasks. Use this time to get creative! Make up songs, bake, do some gardening, sketch, design and make a den. And finally, use this time to read! Getting lost in a book is just the best. Read in the garden; read to your family; recommend books to each other; read, read, read!
Have a wonderful Friday everyone. I'm here if you need me!
Miss Fray
I saw this idea online and I loved it. When you really want to do something that isn't allowed at the moment such as visiting family, going to the park with friends or going for a swim, then write it on a note and keep the notes in a jar. When this very strange time is over, you can work through all the things you wanted to do. I'm going to start one!
