Friday 2nd October
Date: 2nd Oct 2020 @ 3:41pm
It’s the end of another busy week in Owl class.
In science we have been investigated how different types of exercise effect our heart beat. We predicted if our heart would beat faster or slower with different exercises. The children could feel their heart beating very quickly and are now able to find their own pulses! They also thought about exercises that would use just their arms, legs, fingers and then their whole bodies. We created our own body circuit time to keep us fit and healthy.
In Maths we have continued to explore and represent 2 and 3 digit numbers. We have also been ordering numbers and using greater than and less than signs.
Our spellings this week are;
Year 2 – race, ice, cell, city, fancy, lace, space, circle, circus, rice.
Year 3 – measure, treasure, pleasure, enclosure, displeasure, composure, leisure, exposure, closure, disclosure.
Practise of the spellings is definitely helping, so please continue with it.
Have a great weekend
