Owl Class 18th September
Date: 18th Sep 2020 @ 4:10pm
Wow, what a busy Thursday and Friday we have had and I apologise now that there are no photos to show!
In science, we started off by thinking what is inside our bodies. The children drew round themselves and labelled where bones and organs were. They included bones ranging from ribcage, spine, femur to the skull and organs such as the heart and the brain. We then looked at different animal skeleton pictures and predicted with a reason which animal it could be. The children recognised animal skeletons ranging from sheep, rabbits to camels. There was one particular tricky one, ask your child which animal that was!
We have had our first spelling test today. We can tell the children have been practising at home.
Our spellings for next week are
Year 2s
Age, huge, change, charge, bulge, village, range, orange, hinge, stage.
Year 3s
Touch, double, country, trouble, young, cousin, enough, encourage, flourish, couple.
Have a great weekend
Mrs Howe
